Specifications end-grain oak chopping board:

• Material: End-grain oak
• Made in Sweden
• End-grain allows the knife to meet the wood fibers in a gentle way, reducing wear on the blades and giving the cutting board a self-healing effect – the fibers close up after each cut.
• Dimensions (cm): 80 x 45 x 4
• Solid surface and can be used as a chopping board, presentation or serving dish
• Lipped edge (75 mm) keeps the chopping board still while you’re using it
• The chopping board is pre-oiled (food-grade paraffin oil) and should be oiled every 3-4 weeks or when it starts to lighten in color
• Use food-grade oil
• Storage: After cleaning, the board should be stored in a dry place (indoor is recommended). Avoid exposing it to humid enviroments, as it can have an effect on the structure of the wood, which means that cracks and gaps can occur.
• Note! No two wooden chopping boards are identical, so the natural grain and finish may vary slightly from the illustration.

To get the maximum life from your chopping board we recommend you follow the care instructions:
The wooden chopping board is not dishwasher safe, clean gently by washing with warm water and a little detergent, then allow to air dry. Do not soak the cutting board. It is pre-treated with food-grade paraffin oil, making it ready for immediate use. Oil your cutting board every 3-4 weeks or when it starts to lighten in color. For this, a food-safe oil such as rapeseed oil is recommended. We recommend storing the chopping board indoors in a dry place when you are not using your outdoor kitchen.
