NOTE! Avoid using lighter fluid when lighting the grill, as this can damage the grill and leave an unpleasant taste on your food. To remove lighter fluid from the grill, heat the grill at a high temperature for several hours without any food on it. Instead, use the included chimney starter, which is environmentally friendly and does not affect the taste of your food. Always use charcoal when grilling, not briquettes. After the first use, the painted surface may develop a crackled appearance. This is normal and does not affect the performance of the grill.
